But think about it, a true friend doesn't need that time that you can't offer because you are too busy. They should understand. A friendship doesn't survive based off on impressions. You don't need to talk to each other everyday to be best friends, but it is simply worth more when you guys talk after days or even weeks of not updating each other and it seems as if no time was spent apart. Realize that best friends are there to make you happier, not to simply make you feel worthless.

I may feel alone, I may not have real friendships, but I will always have my brother, and I can’t ever ask for anything better. He will be the only one for the rest of my life that will accept me as I am, never to judge, but always guide. I think it’s time I start playing a better role as his sister, give him the oppurtunity to brag about me, the way I always do of him. I consider myself lucky to be blessed with a brother who is not only a sibling, but my bestfriend, my father figure, the strongest male role model in my life. No one else can compare. Thanks for everything Amick Patel, I wouldn’t be living today if it weren’t for your faith in me, thanks for never giving up on me, and picking me up everytime I fall, even if I am getting fatter… <3
